Talacre Beach Resort, Holywell, Flintshire
We walked to Talacre Beach from the Haven holiday park (Presthaven Sands) on a pleasant morning in June. The walk to the beach, along the coastal path, was lovely in itself and when we got there the beach did not disappoint. However, for people travelling by car, we did note there was (free!) parking available close by.

The Crystal Palace is located in the middle of Retiro Park, in the vicinity of the lake, which is accessed by stairs. The Verdict. The holiday park is family friendly and the caravan was excellent. A short walk over sand dunes takes you to the lovely sandy Talacre beach, dominated as it is by the old lighthouse. Despite it being a weekend in July, the park was quiet at night, other holiday makers were friendly and the location of the park makes it an excellent.
