Malva moschata is a very successful perennial in our northern climate. I first started my M. moschata alba from seed in the spring of 2000, and by 2002 it flowered profusely and reached a height of about 2 ft. Sometimes the blooms take on a pinkish tinge that, I think, can be attributed to our cooler weather.
