Dopo aver appreso che, in concomitanza con la Sagra del cavolo verza, il Castello di Montalto Dora era aperto al pubblico con visite guidate, ieri siamo partiti dall'alta Val Susa per vedere finalmente il Castello, trovato sempre chiuso nelle ns visite precedenti. Dopo una bella passeggiata erta su ciottoli di quasi mezzora, purtroppo.

Walk towards the Castle of Montalto Dora from the Piazza del Comune. Small cobblestone street, about 15-20 minutes. Halfway along the path you can see what remains of a film set from the film "Dracula 3D" by Dario Argento, shot in 2011 with a cemetery scene and filming in the castle. Location used on other occasions (fiction "The black arrow", 2005).
