Over time, the Kapruner Ache has made its way into the rocks and formed whirlpools and smooth areas. There is an entrance fee to visit the gorge (see tips). There are opportunities to stop for a break along the way.

The Sigmund Thun Klamm is situated five minutes south of Kaprun. From Zell am See, you can get to the gorge in fifteen minutes.
