Interestingly enough, not too many people know what the ancient Egyptians brought to battle.


What Were Ancient Egyptian Soldiers Called

In the beginning, with the early ruling dynasties (3150 BCE - 2613 BCE), the Egyptian army was still in its infancy stage. The weapons that the soldiers carried were daggers, maces, spears, and simple bows and arrows. The bows were the only long-range weapons, while the daggers and maces would be used in melee and close-range combat.
