Back to the quilt block. I made this one from scraps from my Scrumptious quilt and all the strips are 2.5 inches wide and the lengths of each "cake layer" are shown below. The candle is raw-edge-appliqued on top…. And finally I trimmed down the whole block to 9.5 inches square. Done with the first block….now only about 16 or so left to do.
