No Trees SSE is a MISSILE. Performance gains are insane. Apparently, there is a bug in Skyrim that makes the game read every mod - even empty/dummy mods - for every tree in the game. If you use 100+ mods it gets very noticeable. Recommend "Less Trees 33% Reduction" and "No Hanging Moss" as they are less radical. Lexifer452.

But this mod can work alongside mods that only add new trees in new locations, depending on the way the blablabla additional trees are set up, my mod will either use its new tree locations and place my own trees there, or both mods can work alongside one another.

This is a beautiful mod but (in addition to the performance question others have brought up) OP asked to "keep the Skyrim feeling," and this mod does not do that.. Removing the sight-blocking branches of Bethesda's enormous ambiguous conifer trees (and replacing them with short, skinny pines and deciduous trees) while adding tons of small saplings without collision and stumps/logs with.

Just use enhanced vanilla trees. I've tried everything many times each. I always go back to EVT, and for it I recommend the main file, and alternative tree file, that's it. Run ultra dyndolod and grab shizofs fps stabilizer. It may be an unpopular opinion around here, but 3D trees is my jam.
