Figaro is Geppetto's pet Tuxedo Cat in Disney's 1940 animated film Pinocchio. He later appeared as Minnie Mouse's cat in several cartoon shorts. Figaro was created as a supporting character in the 1940 film Pinocchio. Like so many characters from that film, Figaro became a popular character with audiences. Figaro is the former pet of Geppetto, now currently a pet of Minnie Mouse and a supporting character in Disney's Pinocchio. Figaro is very impatient and gets angry easily, but deep down he has a big heart. He doesn't like a lot of things like bathing, dogs, giving good night kisses, being teased, and many other things. Figaro and Cleo: Directed by Jack Kinney, Ben Sharpsteen. With Clarence Nash, Lillian Randolph. Figaro is a kitten; Cleo is a goldfish (both first seen in Pinocchio (1940).) Figaro gets underfoot, then unravels a ball of yarn while the maid is cleaning. Then the topper: he goes after Cleo. The maid ultimately gets Figaro to promise "peace in this household for the duration."
