Carrot Costume Step 1 Cut the sleeves off of the oversized sweatshirt. Video of the Day Step 2 Pull the sweatshirt on the costume-wearer and draw two angled lines from just under his arms to the bottom of the sweatshirt to make a tapered carrot shape. The costume is made from fleece and can be worn as-is for warmer places (like here in Oklahoma), but can easily be layered with leggings and a long-sleeved shirt for colder places. The sprouting leaves are made from stiff netting…..and surprisingly, they stood up REALLY well! But even if they flop back a bit, you still get the idea! :)
