Looks like a band uniform button cuff or collar size based on the photo. The Waterbury BM is 1900's. Probably 1940's to 1960's. My button book lists backmarks only to the 1920's. I have the identical button also with a Waterbury Button Co with 1870-1900 BM. They have been making that design for a long time. Not a common find np matter the age.
