The clean tones on the DD bridge model are marginal but on an amp with a lot of clean headroom or if you roll down the volume pot you can make it work. You wont do Jazz with it but you can cover popular music.

The CC doesn't 'feel' as near as hot as a Dimarzio Super D, or even a Duncan JB. The regular custom feels like a juiced up PAF with more aggression. These have a serious mid spike. they're good in Strats for that point, a S/S/H. In a Les Paul I just feel like it's too much. The regular custom works better.
